2. Porto-Vecchio and its paradise beaches

3. The maquis and the Bavella Needles

Corsica is about much more than its beaches. Its greatest treasure is its wild, preserved nature. The Bavella Needles, located in the southeast of the island, are home to one of Corsica's most spectacular hiking experiences.

These dramatic granite peaks rise to more than 1,800 metres and offer breathtaking panoramic views over forests of Corsican laricio pines, with the sea stretching out in the distance. The Bavella Needles trail is accessible even to casual hikers, making it an unforgettable way to experience the island's natural beauty.

Hilltop villages such as Pigna, known for its artisan workshops and musicians, and Sant'Antonino, officially listed among France's most beautiful villages, offer a glimpse into traditional Corsican life.
