What's the difference between eaux de parfum, eaux de toilette and eaux de cologne?

Welcome to the bewitching world of fragrance! Choosing the perfect fragrance can sometimes seem like an impossible mission, especially when you're faced with a multitude of terms such as eau de parfum, eau de toilette, eau de cologne... Don't worry, we're here to dispel those olfactory mysteries!

1. Eau de parfum

Imagine yourself in an enchanted forest, where each note of fragrance takes you on a sensory journey. That's the powerful effect of eau de parfum. With a concentration of aromatic oils ranging from 15% to 20%, eau de parfum offers a rich, long-lasting olfactory experience. It's the perfect partner for those special evenings when you want to leave a lasting impression.

2. Eau de toilette

Eau de toilette is like the perfect pair of jeans - casual, but still elegant. With a concentration of aromatic oils between 5% and 15%, it offers a lighter olfactory experience.

3. Eau de cologne

Eaux de Cologne have a long history dating back centuries, but they're still just as relevant today. With concentrations ranging from 2% to 5%, eau de Cologne offers an invigorating freshness. It's perfect for summer mornings, adding a touch of liveliness to your day.

Perfume concentration allows you to choose the intensity. At Poécile, we've created eaux de parfum with a concentration of between 15 and 18% because we want our fragrances to linger on your skin...
